In full respect of the Genius Loci ("Spirit of the Place"), the house is equipped with all modern amenities and comforts and has been fully covered with local light stone. The interiors, enhanced by ceilings with pickle-stained chestnut wood beams, natural terracotta bricks, and warm parquet, are furnished in a dynamic, efficient, and light way, with some touches of Provencal inspiration, and in shades of white and grey, toned down by bright flashes of colour, and with an expert distribution of lights. This design bestows a distillate of charm with simple and refined tones. Thanks to the French windows in the bright living room, the farmhouse expands onto the splendid garden that surrounds it, a succession of lawns dotted with bushes of Mediterranean essences, with elegant and comfortable living areas designed for relaxation in the open air. In the heart of the garden, in an elevated position, there is a scenic infinity pool, the most beautiful point to contemplate the suggestive spectacle of nature from every side.
The property is served by all utilities. The heating system is powered by LPG, while the water supply comes from the municipal aqueduct. Air conditioning provides fresh summer nights in the sleeping area of the property.
The farmhouse was completed at the beginning of 2016. It features all the typical characteristics of traditional Umbrian farmhouses but was built using modern techniques and high quality materials. The outside facade is in stone while inside there are wooden ceilings and floors in artisanal "cotto" and parquet.
The property is ideal as a permanent residence or could become a holiday home where you may enjoy the summer together with family and friends. It is already part of the tourist rental programme.
The location of the farmhouse, between Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, just a few kilometres from the towns of Fabro and Allerona (a picturesque village of medieval origins), but also from the Autostrada del Sole (10 km), will prove ideal for moving towards the large cities of Florence and Rome, but also for exploring the many attractions of the surroundings, the exceptional heritage of natural parks (very close to the property), places rich in religious charm, ancient villages and splendid cities of art (Orvieto, Assisi, Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Casciano dei Bagni, and many others). The property is located on the edge of a tiny hamlet made up of a few houses that are not permanently inhabited and do not disturb the peace of the place.
