- Edgbaston Vineyard is located in the foothills of Mount Simonsberg, in the northern reaches of the Stellenbosch wine region. It produces premium wines from David Finlayson.

- David Finlayson, thanks to his winemaking experience of over 25 years, obtained in various wineries around the world, including Chateau Margoux in France and Peter Lehmann Wines in Australia, has become known as an expert in the production of high quality Burgundy and Bordeaux wines. His name has become synonymous with the production of wines of the highest quality.

- In 2004, the Stellenbosch-born David Finlayson family, now in its third generation growing grapes, purchased the old Edgbaston farm. They embarked on a meticulous process of transplanting and restoring to create the beautiful 30 hectare vineyard that is today known as Edgebaston.

- Grape varieties grown on this farm: Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Semillon, Viognier, Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Tannat, Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc. Also, there is an estate on the territory.

- In this part of Stellenbosch where vines are grown, there is a special topsoil containing clay as well as shale subsoils. Thanks to the unique properties of these soils, wines with refined structure, traditional style and minerality are produced here.

- Edgebaston vineyards only fertilize with organic fertilizers.
