Penthouse In Medieval Tower With Terrace In Florence

In the historic centre of Florence, close to Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and the boutiques of Via Tornabuoni, this striking 160 sqm penthouse occupies the sixth and seventh floors of a 12th-century historic palazzo. A private lift opens directly into the residence, where medieval architecture and carefully restored contemporary comfort are brought together with exceptional elegance. The property includes 2 bedrooms, 2 refined marble bathrooms and two reception rooms. On the sixth floor, a bright living area with generous windows is complemented by an intimate sleeping wing, bespoke wardrobes, oak parquet flooring, energy-efficient double-glazed windows and whitewashed timber beams. An original stone staircase leads to the top-floor open-plan salon, featuring a dining area, fitted open kitchen and whitewashed trussed ceiling. The defining feature is the 30 sqm panoramic terrace, an elegantly appointed outdoor living space with citrus plants and lounge seating. Its 360-degree views embrace Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Campanile, Palazzo Vecchio, Orsanmichele, Forte Belvedere and the hills of San Miniato al Monte. Set within a historic building whose stonework recalls Florence’s medieval defensive towers, this private residence offers an exceptional setting for entertaining at sunset, a distinguished principal home or a high-profile investment in one of the city’s most sought-after areas.Rif:17508
